Inspection system for mechanical engineering: inspection processes per serial number, traceable and documented
DE | EN | FR | ZH
ISO 9001:2015 clause 7.1.5 requires that measuring equipment is suitable for its use, is calibrated or verified at defined intervals, and that the records of this are kept. In many companies these records still live in paper lists and Excel spreadsheets: hard to find, easy to mix up and time-consuming to check.
From the inspection plan to the report, with all records in one place.
Every inspection belongs to a specific unit with a serial number. The history stays fully traceable.
Models bundle procedures with inspection steps and measurements. Procedures are versioned, so it stays clear which revision was used for an inspection.
Measuring equipment is managed as tool types with individual serial numbers. A measurement requires a specific tool, and the instance used is recorded for each inspection.
Rules show or hide measurements depending on earlier answers, for example an inspection certificate only for a specific answer.
Measured values are recorded directly at the inspection station: as numbers, text, yes/no answers or document uploads.
Evaluations of completed and failed inspections, aggregated by procedures, steps and measurements.

We are exploring how AI support could help with analysing inspection data. This is a direction for future development and not a committed feature scope.
The demonstration uses a fully fictitious sample data set. No customer data and no configurations of real companies are shown.
